PHP is used to develop 3 types of applications

PHP is used to develop 3 types of applications :

1. web application : A browser in the client side, a web server that supports php and php parser is required in the server side.

2. Command line scripting : Only php parser is required.

3. Desktop/GUI based application : PHP GTK is used for developing desktop/gui based applications usin php

"GTK" - GIMP tool kit

GIMP - GNU image manipulation programe.

(GNU - An open source Operating system).

PHP is used to develop 3 types of applications
